Training and Alliance Building

A principal concern for Hunter Community Alliance is developing community leaders and strengthening the organisations they are involved in. Community Organiser Training is an opportunity for those leaders, and future leaders, to develop their skills in community organising and to meet and build relationships with other local leaders.

The training is based on the successful model of the Industrial Areas Foundation, established in Chicago in the 1940s, and developed and customised over time for new contexts.
